Do you feel the need to be annoyed by Eddie McGuire more than the scheduled one hour a week? Then this DVD game is for you! Seriously though, this is the second DVD game to be released based upon the successful quiz show hosted by our friend from the southern state.

This one is called the family picture edition and there are two main differences between the two versions. Firstly, this one includes picture clues with quite a few of the questions, especially the high value questions. The second major difference is that this version allows you to choose either adult questions (as would be used on the show) or child questions, so you can play with your children. This choice can be made separately for each player, so that one player can be given adult questions and another children’s questions. To my mind, these are both worthwhile additions, making the game more accessible to a younger audience while still providing challenge for the adults.
As Darren mentioned in the previous review, I also found Eddie’s comments distracting and annoying as they repeat much more often than the questions do. As with the television show it also wastes time.
Regardless, if you like the show, this is a good interactive version of it, with facilities for adults and children to test their general knowledge together.
