A virtual Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back on the streets of Miami in Bad Boys II. This time around, the narcotics detectives Mike Lowry and Marcus Burnett have been assigned to a high tech task force investigating the flow of designer ecstasy into Miami. Their inquiries inadvertently lead hem to a major conspiracy involving a major kingpin, whose ambitions to take over the drug trade have ignited a bloody turf war.

25 to Life is an overly simple third-person shooter that has a story-driven single-player mode and a team-based multiplayer mode. The single-player starts you out in the role of Freeze, a gangster who’s trying to get out of the game and escape with his wife and son. You’re asked to do “one last job,” which, of course, goes spectacularly wrong and messes everything up.

King’s Bounty: The Legend is an adventure game with tactical turn-based battles and role-playing elements. Gameplay is divided into two major sections: adventure mode and battle mode. In adventure mode you control your character in real-time. You move through the adventure map seeking various treasures, fighting monsters and accomplishing quests. In battle mode you lead your troops in tactical turn-based combat. Battles take place on land or sea, in dungeons or castles or even in some items. You yourself don’t participate in the combat, but can assist your troops by casting spells or summoning different creatures.

It’s difficult to invoke suspense and tension in a computer game, but games like Nocturne keep trying. Nocturne borrows heavily from Capcom’s Resident Evil third-person action-adventure games, which in turn stole their creepy style from Infogrames’ Alone in the Dark series. This formula calls for claustrophobic scenery, bizarre camera cuts, unexpected encounters, and a scarcity of ammunition, and on first impression, Nocturne follows this formula precisely.

You play an animal-detective, who helps animals in trouble.The game resembles “Leisure Suit Larry” in the way it treats adult material: there’s no explicit nudity or pornographic scenes, but the dialogues, the jokes, the actions and the thoughts of the animal-loving hero go certainly in this direction.
