The planets of Earth and Arkanar were once very similar, and for centuries their people shared both history and friendship. After a terrible war between the planets, the two societies split apart and lived a secluded existence. While Earth prospered and grew, Arkanar became strangely stagnated. Titan Quest received many favorable comparisons to Diablo II and rightly so. With the title’s emphasis on loads of enemies, loads of loot and loads of click-happy combat, Titan Quest was an excellent modern take on the format popularized by Blizzard’s action RPG. Now the team at Iron Lore has graced us with an enjoyable expansion pack that adds tons of content and smoothes out some of the original. It still won’t win over anyone who isn’t a fan of the basic design but it’s a great expansion for fans of the original.

As great as the story is in Neverwinter Nights 2, it’s difficult to convey without spoiling the plot; but suffice it to say that it will keep your interest throughout the entire campaign–which, at around 50 hours long, is no small feat. You begin the game by creating a character. You can choose a race, subrace, appearance, class, moral alignment, and even a voice for your hero. After you create your character, you are taken on a journey that will see you rise from your beginnings as a humble peasant to become one of the most respected and elite heroes of Neverwinter.

King’s Bounty: The Legend is an adventure game with tactical turn-based battles and role-playing elements. Gameplay is divided into two major sections: adventure mode and battle mode. In adventure mode you control your character in real-time. You move through the adventure map seeking various treasures, fighting monsters and accomplishing quests. In battle mode you lead your troops in tactical turn-based combat. Battles take place on land or sea, in dungeons or castles or even in some items.
