Simulation games used to be the big thing on the PC. Each month, something new would be released to get propeller heads frothing at the mouth. Cars were simulated. Planes were simulated. Even Richard Branson’s beard was simulated (well, his yacht with beard aboard anyway). But then, something happened. Almost overnight, the sims stalled, and the genre passed quietly on.
