It’s amazing to see a game so determined to shoot itself in the foot. In many ways, Major League Baseball 2K9 is an amazing effort compared to previous installments in the series, fixing a lot of what the game was lacking in feel and authenticity. But MLB 2K9 ships in such a buggy state, that you’ll find yourself laughing at some of its weirder glitches. That is, when you’re not cursing its name.

Urban Freestyle Soccer predominately features the same sort of over the top gameplay as Acclaims other release NBA Jam. You can just about throw any “rules” of Soccer you may know out of the window, this title concentrates on action and does it’s best to alleviate some of the less interesting moments in the sport and replaces them with even more action.

UEFA Euro 2008 plays a better game of football than any other game currently available for either the Xbox 360 or the PS3. EA Canada’s gameplay team has been hard at work on the core engine since it finished FIFA 08, and its work shows. UEFA Euro 2008 isn’t that far ahead of the latest FIFA offering, but minor improvements are apparent all over the pitch.
